Before seriously getting on with the idea of starting your own business you
must consider your motives for starting on your own.
Skills
You also need to consider whether you possess the
personal/financial/professional skills qualifying you for a business start-up.
By doing this you could become surer of yourself and your new future.
The inner urge
There can be various reasons as to why people want to start business, such
as the inner urge to pit oneself against one's own abilities as an entrepreneur.
You might want to show your father or old classmates that you can do something
great. By working harder and more committed than families and friends you will
succeed – all research shows that.
Self-employment
You could also be unemployed and no jobs are insight in the near future. You
start the business you have been thinking about for a long time or you just
start something that seems easy to start. It feels better to be a businessman
than unemployed and being active is better than just waiting.
Family business
Also the takeover of a family business or the family wishing to have a
businessman in the family can be a reason too.
